Topic: The presentation takes us first-hand through the thought process of growing Fishpond, a family owned Colorado company, into a company that above all focuses on how to “Do best for the world”, the steps they have taken, and the B Corp certification that amplifies and confirms their path. Learn how Fishpond is using its brand strength for conservation, sustainability, and habitat protection. Fishpond is expanding its current fishing market into outdoor adventure travel and lifestyle segments.

Speaker: John Le Coq is the CEO and founder of Fishpond.  Le Coq is also the founding partner of Case Logic, Inc., which is now owned by Thule based in Sweden.  He currently serves on the board of directors of the Woods Hole Research Center in Woods Hole, MA, (voted #1 climate change think tank in the world) and is also a founding member of Beyond The Pond, a 501c3 funding board for the National Fish Habitat Partnerships. Le Coq has 35 years of experience shooting professional photography around the world, and has produced images and branding consultation for many large companies such as Microsoft, Apple Computer, FedEx, UPS, IBM and Disney, to name a few.
