Ice Lakes Day Hike

Join us and Backcountry Experience for a free day hike to Ice Lake Basin to learn about the history and topography of the region as well as why it’s been included in the San Juan Mountains Wilderness Act. The trail can be challenging with nearly 2,500 feet elevation gain over 3.5 miles (one way), so we recommend all participants be in good physical health and condition.
